Troops of Assam Rifles in a joint operation with Police representative apprehended one NSCN (I-M) cadre in general area Purana Bazar, Dimapur on January 22.
According to PRO, HQ IGAR (N), based on specific input, troops of Assam Rifles along with Police representative launched an operation and apprehended one NSCN (I-M) cadre and recovered one point 22 pistol, three rounds of point 22 ammunition, 2300 spasma proxivon capsule (approx Rs 43,200) and Rs. 1,56,500/- in cash.
The apprehended person along with the recovered items was handed over to East Police Station, Dimapur for further investigation.
