Acting on specific information about the movement of arms peddler in a car in general area around Clock Tower, Dimapur, troops of 29 Assam Rifles (AR) under the aegis of headquarters 6 sector AR launched an operation on January 9 and intercepted an individual identified as Sana Sharma (40), resident of Hojai, Assam, along with one .22 pistol.
The apprehendee along with recovered weapon was handed over to west police station, Dimapur.
