Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (N)/ HQ 5 Sector Assam Rifles organised Pre Christmas celebration with Kohima Village Council (KVC) and Gaon Buras (GBs) of Kohima, on December 22. The event was attended by Major General Vikas Lakhera, Sena Medal, Inspector General Assam Rifles (North) and Brigadier Herjinder Singh, Deputy Inspector General, HQ 5 Sector Assam Rifles along with Hellevio Solo, chairman, Kohima Village Council, K N Sekhose, former president Angami Public Organisation and all GBs of Kohima.
Major General Vikas Lakhera, extended Christmas greetings to all the citizens of Kohima and expressed the hope that the joyous occasion will be celebrated with full zeal and enthusiasm. Brigadier Herjinder Singh, also conveyed greetings to all the citizens of Kohima.
