Assam Rifles douse inferno in Aboi town

Mokokchung battalion of Assam Rifles averted a major fire incident in Aboi town, Mon on December 27.
According to AR source, a fire broke out in one of the house in Hunyan Ward of Aboi Town at around 1:20 pm due to short circuit. On learning about the fire outbreak, troops of Aboi Company Operating Base of Assam Rifles immediately rushed towards the site of incident with firefighting equipments.
The relief column successfully evacuated men and materials from the site and managed to douse the fire with the help of fire extinguishers and water bowser. No causalities were reported but one of the house has been completely burnt down.
