To empower women in the state, Assam Rifles distributed ten sewing machines to the women of the Development Outreach Network Society (DONETS) in Jalukie town, Peren on October 30.
The initiative was the Assam Rifles commitment to foster positive change in the communities they served.
By providing sewing machines to DONETS, AR has taken a significant step toward enabling economic self-reliance among the women.
