Extending help to civilians, 18 Assam Rifles Commandant on January 21 visited and interacted with the village chief and village authority of Nchengram village and Old Puilwa village respectively. The AR provided complete water supply scheme to include three water tanks to Nchengram village and 50 CGI sheets to village authority Old Puilwa village. Assam Rifles also further assured the locals of all possible help on part of the unit and the organisation as and when required for sustained and all round development of the area.
