Assam Rifles flags off national integration tour

To provide exposure to the young students of the State about the history, culture and developments in other parts of the nation, 18 Assam Rifles (AR), under the aegis of Headquarters 6 Sector Assam Rifles, has flagged off national integration tour on January 8 at Kashiram Basti, Dimapur.
The tour was flagged off by Tashile, principal of Heraka Vidya Mandir, Jalukie town, while Commander of 6 Sector AR has addressed the students and conveyed his best wishes for the tour.
Meanwhile, parents and the GB have expressed gratitude to Assam Rifles for providing opportunity to their children to participate in the national integration tour
The ceremony was attended by Ketosiet Nisa, Extra Assistant Commissioner (Peren) district, parents of the children and AR Personnel.
The tour team comprised of 17 students including nine boys and eight girls from various schools namely St Xaviers Higher Secondary School (Jalukie), Heraka Vidya Bharati School (Jalukie B), All Saints Higher Secondary School (Peren), Government Higher Secondary School (Peren) and Zeliangrong Heraka School (Tening) along with three teachers from Peren.
The team would be visit Delhi, Agra and Jaipur from January 8 to 21.
