A Myanmar national has been apprehended on charges of smuggling “sunflower drug” into India by Assam Rifles on May 9 at Longwa, Mon district.
A press release by Assam Rifles informed that the “drug peddler” was apprehended during a search at Indo-Myanmar check post at Longwa. AR said Indian currency notes were also seized from the possession of the arrested individual.
