Assam Rifles organises free vety camp

Veterinary aid camp was organized by 46 Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (N) at Sitmi village in Kiphire district on January 17.
A medical team of 14 Mobile Field Veterinary Hospital consisting of one veterinary doctor and medical staff provided veterinary cover. The camp drew an overwhelming response from the locals.
A large number of local people turned up to get special treatment for their cattle wherein  1623 animals including cattle, cats, dogs and pigs were treated and consulted.
Free veterinary medicine and vaccines were also distributed to the owners. The local people have, meanwhile, appreciated the Assam Rifles for organizing the camp for the region.
