Mokokchung battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (N) provided aid to the victims of April 6 fire incident at Yongnyah Chingong village, Longleng.
According to PRO HQ IGAR (N), on learning about the fire incident, troops of Assam Rifles swung into action and evacuated the individuals and their possessions from the site. Three seriously injured persons were administered with basic first aid by the medical team. Essential items were also provided to the victims.
