Assam Rifles recover IMFL in Wokha

Wokha battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (N) conducted an operation on specific information with police representative in general area Niroyo tri-junction, Wokha district on February 25.
According to AR Wokha battalion one Rubongo Humtsoe alias Thomas (64), driver son of late Tsenthungo, resident of Humtsoe presently residing in PWD colony Wokha was apprehended with illegal Indian Made Foreign liquor (IMFL).
AR stated that the recoveries included 421 bottles of Mc Dowell Rum (750 ml), 236 bottles of Officer’s Choice (180 ml), 236 cans of Kingfisher beer (500 ml), 96 bottles of McDowell (180 ml) worth Rs. 2 lakhs and INR Rs. 84, 500/-. In this connection, the recoveries were handed over to Wokha police station.
