As part of the ongoing crackdown by Assam Rifles to prevent illegal activities, troops of Assam Rifles seized IMFL in general area Burma Camp, Dimapur on August 27.
According to PRO HQ IGAR (N), based on specific intelligence regarding illegal activities in general area Burma Camp, Dimapur, troops of Assam Rifles alongwith Police representative launched an operation and apprehended Kanhaiya Kumar, age 25 years, r/o Motihari, Bihar.
Recoveries included assorted bottles of IMFL amounting to Rs. 3.5 lakhs. The apprehended individual along with recovered items was handed over to East Police Station, Dimapur for further investigation.
