DIMAPUR: District Election Office, Phek organised an “Assistance to Voters’ Camp” under the theme “Together for a stronger democracy” at Town Hall, Chetheba, on August 28.
Delivering the introductory note, Extra Assistant Commissioner, Chetheba, Nengpichong Singsit, highlighted the importance of the camp, a DIPR report stated. Assistant Election Officer (AEO), Phachulo Kath, served as the main resource person and cautioned that no genuine voter should be left out during the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR). He also commended the past efficient work of BLOs in Chozuba.
The camp was conducted as part of the SIR exercise 2026 with the participation of voters, BLOs and BLAs under the supervision of election officials.
