Ao Sense Telongjern Dimapur (ASTD) lauded its bonafide member, Dr. S. C Jamir on being honored with the prestigious Padma Bhushan Award in the field of Public Affairs by the President of India during the occasion of Indian’s 71st Republic Day and bringing laurels to Ao community in particular and to the Nagas in general.
Ao Sense Telongjern Dimapur in a press release by president L. Wati Jamir and secretary K. Mar Lemtur stated that, Dr. S.C Jamir has been an illustrious son of the soil and a statesman who truly deserve the honour acknowledging his significant contributions and sacrifices in public field since the inception of statehood of Nagaland as well as in the service of the country.
Union further prays that Almighty God grant Dr. S. C Jamir good health and long life, so that he can be a real mentor and guiding light for the younger generation.
