With education mainly dependant on online classes due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Angami Students’ Union (ASU) has urged telecom service providers to look into internet connectivity issues and strengthen the network connectivity.
In a press release, ASU vice president, KevilelhouZumu and education secretary, ThepfuruyaTheunuo said that teaching-learning since last year has been shifted to online classes which has necessitated a good internet network connection. However, the union pointed out that because of bad network in both rural and urban areas the flow of online classes and learning activities have been badly affected.
Stating that the union was deeply concerned of this issue, ASU has asked the service providers to look into the issues and ensure better network connectivity.
