In view of the forthcoming HSLC, HSSLC and CBSE examinations, Angami Students’ Union has appealed to the public to abstain from using loudspeakers, public address system and other unwanted activities that could disturb the conducive environment required for studying and exam purpose.
Asserting the need for an uninterrupted power supply during exams, ASU president Khriesamhalie David Mere, and vice-president and convener of grievances cell Thejalhoukho Thomas Khawakhrie said they had also appealed to Power department on February 5 for ensuring regular power supply.
While looking forward to a just and prolific society, they called upon everyone to cooperate towards ameliorating the well being of the student community.
They declared that the ASU would remain vigilant during this period and ensure that students were not deprived of a student-friendly environment as they prepared and appeared for their exams.
They encouraged the students to diligently appear for their exams, wishing them good health and a good luck.
Stating the union could be contacted for any related grievances, the union appealed the general public for cooperation.
As notified by the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE), examinations for HSSLC and HSLC would commence from February 11 and 12, and culminate on March 7 and February 24 respectively.
CBSE exams for Class 10 and 12 will commence from February 15 and culminate on March 18 and April 4 respectively.
