DIMAPUR, MAY 30 (NPN): The Ao Students’ Union Dimapur (ASUD) launched its official website, www.asud.in, along with its Entrepreneurship and Business Development Initiative on May 28 at the official residence of the chief secretary.
According to a press release, the website was formally launched by chief secretary Sentiyanger Imchen in the presence of ASUD officials.
The newly launched website will serve as a digital platform for sharing information on the Union’s activities, announcements, student-related initiatives and organizational updates. It is expected to enhance communication and engagement among students and the wider community.
Ao Students’ Union Dimapur also introduced its Entrepreneurship and Business Development Initiative aimed at promoting entrepreneurship, innovation, sustainable development and marketing skills.
The initiative seeks to support aspiring entrepreneurs through access to resources, networking opportunities, training, mentorship, market access and capacity building.
Speaking at the event, Imchen lauded ASUD’s efforts in embracing digital advancement and encouraging entrepreneurship among youth.
He stressed the importance of innovation, leadership and self-reliance, and urged students to contribute towards economic growth and community development. He also encouraged the Union to adopt a practical approach and work collectively for the overall progress of society.
The Union said the launch of the website and entrepreneurship initiative marks a significant step towards modernization, connectivity and fostering entrepreneurial growth among students and young professionals.
