ATC holds mental health awareness programme

Asia Pacific Mission Association (APMA) organized a five day lecture series from March 31 to April 4, at Anderson Theological College (ATC).

In a release, ATC informed that the theme for the lecture series was, “How to Build Biblical Church”, with pastor, Church Planter, and a patron member of Ministry Rebuilding Academy (MRA), Dr. Joo-Won Lim, as the instructor for the lecture series.


Dr. Lim shared valuable Biblical and Theological knowledge and insight on various topics and highlighted importance of Biblical and Theological principles and mission-focused leaders that guides in Building Biblical Churches.


ATC, in collaboration with Lapiye Centre for Mental Well-being, also organized a special mental health awareness programme under the theme “Together We Can: Lead with Love”, at the college chapel hall on April 7. Resource persons for the seminar were Counselor, Psychologist, and founder, Lapiye Centre for Mental Well-being, Dimapur, Lovitoli Awomi, and School Counselor, teacher, Lika Awomi.

The primary objective of the event was to create awareness about stress, mental health challenges, and overall emotional well-being of students and family of ATC with knowledge and coping strategies to lead a mentally healthy life, comprising of four sessions, covering wide ranges of topics.
