ATMA Chunlikha Block conducted demonstration programme on January 27 at Ziphenyu with resource person ATM Chenobu Seb, who demonstrated the methods of installation of Trichogramma cards in the field.
The block also conducted two demonstration programmes on January 28 at K. Station and Tesophenyu. At the programme, ATM, Sinlo Khing highlighted the advantages of the preparation of nursery beds for raising vegetable seedlings and explained to them the possibilities of growing cole and root crops from the month of January to March in the Tseminyu district. Resource person Kebegi Kent also conducted a hands-on demonstration on the methods of application of trichoderma as seed and foliar treatment.
The farmers were made aware of the advantages of using bio-control agents and how they can be a better option for chemical pesticides.
