ATMA Tsaru block Tuensang conducts state level training

Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Tsaru block, Tuensang conducted within state level training for farmers on October 20 at SARS, Yisemyong, Mokokchung with an aim to boost awareness and expose the farmers to new ideas of agricultural practices. 
The team was lead by block technology manager, Dr. T. Arenmongla and ATM, Moatemsu.
During a brief interaction with the farmers, joint director, SARS Yisemyong Dr. D. K. Chetri spoke on organic farming and highlighted the farmers on the concept and importance of organic farming. The farmers were also encouraged for adopting sustainable farming practices; minimize the soil degradation and erosion.
