ATMA, Zunheboto, Ghathashi Block organized capacity-building, demonstration and Kisan Gosthi program across Pughoboto, Mishilimi, Natsumi, Tsaphimi, Asukiqa and Ghokimi villages from May 26 to 29.
In a press release by ATMA Zunheboto, Ghathashi, Block Technology Manager, Y Wellson Shitio noted that the resource persons were BTM Wellson, ATM Tovishe and AFA Shekto. The farmer’s capacity-buildings and demonstrations covered topics such as digital literacy, silkworm production, contour bunding practices, vermi composting, bio-pesticide, and Fall Army Worm (FAW) management. Additionally, a Kisan Gosti focused on soil health management and bio-fertilizer was conducted, where participants were distributed bio-fertilizers and agriculture hand tools.
