ATMA Zunheboto exposure tour

ATMA Zunheboto, conducted an interstate farmers exposure tour to ICAR Research complex, Barapani and the Rural Resource Training Centre (RRTC) Umran, Meghalaya from June 10 -12.
Altogether, seven progressive farmers along with three ATMA officials participated in the tour. The objective of the tour was to expose farmers to advance technologies and research outputs in agriculture and allied sectors. The team visited the ICAR research complex, various farming units such as models for integrated organic food production to sustain income for low and marginal farmers with land holding less than a hectare both in low land and up land areas. At RRTC, Umran, the group visited various units such as Apiculture, vermin composting, poultry, nursery, IFS, food processing units etc.
