An awareness and sensitisation on COVID-19 vaccination programme was conducted on August 27 at Lamhai village, Peren.
In a press release, media officer Shekho Sophie informed that during the programme, the resource person MO I/c Dungki PHC, Dr. Rukuto appealed to all the participants to come forward and get vaccinated and not miss the opportunity.
He encouraged them to get vaccinated and not to believe in the misconceptions about the vaccine on the social media.
Dr. Rukuto also gave detailed explanation on Covishield vaccine and how the doses were administered.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by NHP chairman Iperai, invocation was pronounced by deacon Haikomy while village secretary Ilamgong delivered the vote of thanks. The workshop was followed by interaction and discussion with the resource person and participants.
