Tamlu sub-division administration and Mobile Medical Unit (MMU), Community Educational Centre Society (CECS) jointly organized health and medical awareness camp on “Adolescent and Health” on September 20 at Christian school Tamlu for the students of Government High School and Christian school of Tamlu town under Longleng district.
In a press note by coordinator, MMU (CECS), S. Limawapang stated that, EAC Tamlu, Nukshimatong launched the program, wherein he enlightened the gathering about the importance of health and hygiene in our daily life. Dr. Bendangkokba Alinger spoke on “Adolescent and Health”; coordinator MMU, S. Limawapang elucidated the students on depression among the youth in today’s society and its evil effects; while head master Christian School Tamlu, Shaophen Phom moderated the camp. More than 250 students attended the program and availed the facilities
It further stated that, MMU is a project of CECS supported by the Hans Foundation and works for Rural Health Care.
