District Election Office (DEO) Wokha in collaboration with Wokha district icon, Dr. Abeny W Khuvung organised a one-day awareness programme on Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) campaign on “clean election” for Asha and Anganwadi workers at CMO office Wokha on February 20.
According to DIPR, while addressing the gathering, district icon urged the Asha and Anganwadi workers to be ambassadors of clean election and spread the message as they had connection in the remotes area, while also implementing both the state and central sponsored health programme, as clean election was the only solution for all-round development of the state.
Around 90 Asha and Anganwadi workers from Wokha and Chukitong block attended the awareness campaign.
