Zunheboto District Legal Services Authority (under the aegis of NSLSA) in collaboration with department of Legal Metrology & Consumer Protection Zunheboto, organised one day awareness campaign on Consumer Protection Act 2019 at EAC office Hoshepu on June 7.
According to a DIPR report, in the programme, retain lawyer, ZDLSA, Easter H Yepthomi highlighted on Consumer Protection Act 2019, while assistant controller, LMCP Zunhebto, Khevishe Z Zhimomi dwelled on Legal Metrology Act and Nagaland LM enforcement Rules, and District & Session Judge and chairman ZDLSA Phuleto Yeptho, delivered the key note address.
The report informed that short speech was also delivered by chairman Hoshepu Area Public Organisation, AIG Prison (Rtd), K Khushito Awomi. The awareness campaign was attended by village Council functionaries, GBs, HRPO representatives and Church leaders.
