DIMAPUR: As part of the Mera Resham Mera Abhiman (MRMA) 2.0 campaign, an awareness programme on disinfection and hygiene technologies was conducted at Razaphe Village, Chümoukedima, on August 21.
The programme was attended by Dr. Anil Kumar S. T., Scientist B, CSB MESSO, P3 Unit, Narayanpur, and Pete, Sericulture Supervisor.
Farmers were sensitised on the importance of maintaining proper hygiene and adopting effective disinfection practices in silkworm rearing houses. Practical guidance was provided on disinfection and hygiene technologies to help maintain a clean rearing environment, minimise disease incidence and improve silkworm performance.
The programme aimed to strengthen farmers’ knowledge and encourage adoption of scientific hygiene and disinfection practices for sustainable and healthy sericulture production.
