Geological Survey of India (GSI), led by Director and HoD, Moirangcha, Superintendent, Rita Thurr, and Senior Geologist, State Unit-Manipur and Nagaland, Puloketo Achumi, organized an awareness program on landslide disaster management, at Conference Hall, Zunheboto Town Council (ZTC), on February 7.
A press release by ZTC informed that the training introduced GSI’s newly developed “BHOOSKHALAN” app, which aims to enrich the national landslide inventory. The training was attended by councilors of ZTC, led by deputy chairperson, Vihoto Zhimo, and Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) team.
