Awareness on legal rights of women at St. Xavier College

St. Xavier College organised an awareness programme on legal rights for women on November 30 under the guidance and sponsorship of National Commission for Women (NCW), New Delhi. 
A press release by St. Xavier College principal, Dr. Francis Cheerangal, stated that 61 college students participated in the written competition on various topics related to the legal rights of women. 
The release informed that Sruti, an engineer and Jesus youth volunteer, addressed the participants on the multi-faceted aspects of the legal rights of women. 
The winners would be awarded on December 6 during special ceremony in the college. NSS unit of the college took the lead in organizing the program under the guidance of the management, stated the release.
