Awareness on minority development and finance cooperation conducted at Phek

DIMAPUR:

The Directorate of Minority Affairs, government of Nagaland in collaboration with Phek district administration conducted awareness and sensitization programme on March 17 at DC’s Conference Hall.
According to DIPR report, key details of National Minorities Development and Finance Cooperation (NMDFC) such as Micro-Credit Schemes, PM VIKAS, Minority Scholarship & PMJVK Schemes that functions under the administrative of the Minority Affairs, Govt of India were highlighted through PowerPoint presentations by Andrew C. Imti, joint director, Minority Affairs, Thehavizo Rio, asst. project officer, Khriezotuolie, programme assistant of Minority Affairs Department.
District administrative officers, heads of the district offices, Village Council chairmen, GBs, and church leaders attended the programme.
The chairman of the program, Neingulie Krome, joint secretary, Minority Affairs delivered the keynote addressed, while Rhosietho Nguori, Deputy Commissioner (DC) , Phek proposed the welcome address.
