A two-day awareness programme on “Natural Farming for Gram Pradhans” was organized by ATMA Mon in collaboration with MANAGA, Hyderabad and SAMETI, Nagaland on June 24 and 25.
Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, GoI has initiated a massive awareness programme for Gram Pradhans by organizing 750 online one day programmes across the country. At the programme, master trainers were deputy director, Directorate of Agriculture, Bodevi Shuya and Veterinary Assistant Surgeon, Department of V& AH, Dr. Vinato Chishi. Presentations on “Integrated Pest Management” and “Integrated Disease Management” were given by Diezielhouno Chucha, Assistant Technology Manager, ATMA Mon and Nchumthung Murry, Assistant Technology Manager, ATMA Mon. The programme was facilitated by deputy project director ATMA, Mon, Subenthung Odyuo and keynote address was delivered by DAO and PD, ATMA, Mon, K Renphamo Lotha.
