One day block level awareness programme on child rights, child protection and street to school campaign was held at Thonoknyu Headquarters on May 22 at Town hall. The resource persons at the awareness programme included district child protection officer (CDPO) N.S Khaikho, protection officer, i/c Keviyiechunuo. Both the resource persons said that it was a collective responsibility to eradicate violence against child rights in any home.
At the programme, SDO Civil Thonoknyu, Shaying also exhorted the gathering. The programme, chaired by N.S Khaikho DCPO Tuensang, was organised by the District Child Protection Unit Tuensang.
All the DBs, GBs, departmental heads, public from Thonoknyu area Headquarters and Thonoknyu area VCCs and secretaries attended the programme.
