Losami Drivers’ Union (LDU) and Losami Youth Society (LYS) in collaboration with Home Guard & Civil Defence and State Disaster Response Force, Phek organised an awareness programme on “Preparedness and effective disaster response” at Losami village in Phek district.
During the event, Imaner, Sub Inspector and his six member team trained the drivers and youth on effective management and response during man made and natural disasters.
The resource persons also demonstrated fire control method.

Meanwhile, LDU president Kewekhazo Tsido and LYS president Hichote Tara expressed sincere gratitude to all the concerned departments for organizing such awareness programme for the benefit of the local populace.
