Yimyu Ward Sanitation Committee in collaboration with Yimyu Baptist Church hosted an awareness program on sanitation under the theme, “Wash Yourselves, Make Yourselves Clean – Isaiah 1:16,” on July 30 at Yimyu Baptist church.
The theme speaker of the programme was Akok Walling.
Addressing the congregation, Akok emphasized the importance of a clean soul and morality, drawing wisdom from the biblical verse Isaiah 1:16. He lauded the sanitation committee for organizing the programme emphasizing on the essence of cleanliness.
He urged the attendees to prioritize their health and recognize the connection between physical and spiritual cleanliness.
Chairman of the Sanitation Committee, Aolepden welcomed the participants and underlined the importance of embracing a healthy lifestyle. The program also witnessed a painting competition organized by the Child Department of Yimyu Baptist Church, in collaboration with the Sanitation Committee, where prizes were awarded to talented young artists.
