AWUM on power crisis in Mkg

All Ward Union Mokokchung Town (AWUM) had an emergency presidential council meeting on August 28 to discuss the ongoing electricity crisis in the town as well as in neighbouring villages. 
A press release by AWUM secretary Lanumeren stated that the meeting had resolved to meet the superintendent engineer (SE Power) regarding the crisis. It stated that AWUM was informed by SE (Power) that the department would solve the power crisis within 10 days and had requested the public to be patient and bear up for a few days.
