Axis Bank opens 19th branch in Jalukie

Dimapur ,SEP 30 (NPN): Axis Bank has expanded its presence in Nagaland with the opening of its 19th branch at stadium colony, Jalukie, in Peren district. According to a press release, the new branch was inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister of Nagaland, T.R. Zeliang, in the presence of Axis Bank officials, including Cluster Head, Dimapur, Poujaulung, and other senior officials.
The new branch is located at ground floor, near Centre Point Hotel, Stadium colony. It will provide a range of banking and financial services, including personal and digital banking, personal, gold, home and vehicle loans, working capital and term loans, as well as insurance facilities.
The branch will cater to retail customers, farmers and agri-allied businesses, self-employed professionals, government and institutional customers, high net-worth individuals, MSMEs and retail businesses, the release stated.
Regional Branch Banking Head–East 1, Axis Bank, Ravi Prabhakar Dalal, said the new branch reaffirmed the bank’s focus on expanding banking access and providing customer-centric financial services in the region.
He said the bank aimed to combine digital innovation with personalised services to provide financial solutions to customers, adding that Nagaland remained an important market for the bank.
With the opening of the Jalukie branch, Axis Bank now has 19 branches and 26 ATMs across Nagaland, according to the release.
