Angami Youth Organization (AYO) while observing the nature of construction of four lane highway has also pointed out the massive environmental impact created.
A press note by AYO president Neinguvoto Krose and general secretary, Kekhrie Pfiikha stated that environmental impact was now felt by both the indigenous communities residing along the highway and the travellers in AYO jurisdiction, keeping in mind the best interest to see reality of the highway.
It also appreciated the Kiruphema Youth Organization for undertaking the strenuous task of assisting the travellers under difficult circumstances through repair works and assistance in traffic.
AYO appealed the government to take note of the selfless efforts extended by the people of Kiruphema and trust that all possible help would be given to them.
