As part of Poshan Pakhwada 2025, a “Baby Show” was organised at Tseminyu under ICDS project, at council hall T. Zisunyu village on April 21, 2025.
According to DIPR report, the keynote address was delivered by CDPO/DPO i/c Tseminyu Menokhrielie, while Sr. Supervisor ICDS project Tseminyu, Obed Magh emphasized the importance of baby show and asserted that the show was not a competition but a celebration of life and expression of love and gratitude to God for the new arrival of blessings.
Magh said a child’s brain developed rapidly during the first few years of life, therefore the first 1000 days offers a critical window for intervention and support.
The first two years are a critical period for brain development laying the foundation for future cognitive, emotional and social abilities of the child. The program was chaired by Sr. Supervisor, ICDS project Tseminyu, Kenyuyhunlo Kent and vote of thanks by Hannah Lorin, LDA ((ICDS) project Tseminyu.
