Five girls were selected by district administration and District Level Centre for Women (DLCW), Tuensang under Beti Bachaoi Beti Padhao (BBBP) to undergo baking classes at Mokokchung from October 26 to 31.
A press release by women welfare officer, Tuensang, Songmao M stated that, Lucy Jamir from Pretty Bake Mokokchung had trained the youths for one week. The objective of the training was to give self confidence among the girls for sustainable living and to empower them for small enterprises. It also aimed to generate self employment and disseminate the skills/knowledge by the trained individuals among the youths in the district.
