Grace Society Community Based Rehabilitation Forum (CBRF), on October 5, organized a vocational training on bamboo craft for leaders of Disabled People’s Organization (DPO) held at Grace Society, Changtongya town office campus.
The Trainer was recipient of Samarthya Award, 2017 instituted by CBRF, Salonger from Mongsenyimti village.
A press release by Grace Society Community Based Rehabilitation Forum (CBRF) cocordinator, Chubawati stated that the training was conducted according to CBRF planner with the objective to train DPO leaders on how to make different products with raw materials available in their area making them self reliant, contribute to society, and enhance their family’s income.
Altogether, 18 leaders from different Village Disable People’s Organizations (VDPOs) attended the training and learnt how to make different bamboo craft products like trays, pen stands and curtain clips.
