Bank of Baroda opens new branch at Ahthibung

Bank of Baroda has opened its new branch at Ahthibung Town, Peren district on May 12.
The branch was inaugurated by deputy commissioner Peren, Vineet Kumar in the presence of general manager and zonal head of Kolkata Zone, Debadrata Das, network DGM, Kolkata Zone, Debashis Bakshi, deputy general manager and regional head Jorhat, Chandan Sahoo and branch manager Ahthibung Branch, Kaikho Savio.
Speaking at the event, Vineet Kumar appreciated the Bank of Baroda for opening its new branch in Ahthibung Town which has been a long-felt need of the people of the area. He said it was possible because of the special effort put forth by SDO (C) Ahthibung, KSON, and public leaders of the Ahthibung area. He said with the opening of new branch, all the blocks of Peren district have become “Banked Blocks” and expressed hope that the services provided would benefit the common masses residing in Ahthibung Town and its adjoining villages.
Earlier, Pastor, Elvis Hangsing pronounced the dedicatory prayer of the branch.
