“Battling Against the Wave,” a book penned by sixteen-year-old Lanunechetla Longchar was released on December 29 by Dimapur Government College (DGC) principal Akok Walling during Chungtia Students Union (CSU) platinum jubilee celebration.
“Battling Against the Wave” takes readers through an influential journey. Much of the memoir explores how physical and spiritual warfare can severely impact a student, sometimes driving them towards compromising with their dreams and aspirations. The book gives an honest glimpse into how young people may silently face different struggles and how one can overcome them. The book would be available in Dimapur at OM Book Store and Modern Book Store, Crossword in Kohima, Eastern Book Depot and Connect in Mokokchung.
