
Parliamentary secretary for justice and law, Er. Picto Shohe on Friday has encouraged the students to keep striving for success and to be sources of inspiration for the younger generation.
He was speaking as chief guest at the 26th biennial conference of the Saptiqa Area Students’ Union (SATU) being held under the theme, “orienting success” at Usutomi local ground from January 4-7.
Er. Picto said “there are many formulas for success but most of them are not sustainable and therefore the only strong proof formula for success is to find God.” He then urged the students to be strongly rooted in the word of God.
On the theme, he said said “orienting success” meant getting conversant with success and improvising it according to the changes taking place in the competitive era.
Further, he said that construction of six bridges under Atoizu area was in the offing with most of it already under construction. Two major roads in the area are also under construction, he added.
Earlier, SATU president, Atopu Achumi delivered welcome address and president of GBs Association Saptiqa Area, Inakha exhorted the gathering.
In the biennial conference the gathering was enthralled with various cultural performances by Shena Old Students’ Union (SOSU), Usutomi Students’ Union (USU), Saptiqa Students’ Union (SSU) and Shena New Students’ Union (SNSU).
