Beat Devices celebrated its 10th anniversary with an evening of music, appreciation and community spirit at Imagiland, Kisama, on July 10, bringing together artists, music lovers, clients and well-wishers to mark a decade of professional audio and event production.
Over the past 10 years, Beat Devices has emerged as one of Nagaland’s trusted names in sound reinforcement and event production, providing technical support for concerts, festivals, community programmes and various social initiatives. The company has also extended its services during times of need, reflecting its commitment to serving the community.
The anniversary concert featured performances by several prominent rock bands from Nagaland, celebrating the state’s vibrant music scene. Chairman of the Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA), Theja Meru, attended the event as the special guest, highlighting the importance of strengthening the music and creative industries in the state.
As part of the celebration, Beat Devices announced that proceeds from the concert would be used to sponsor an aspiring sound engineer, reaffirming its commitment to nurturing the next generation of professionals working behind the scenes in the live music industry.
A ceremonial guitar-signing session was one of the highlights of the event, with artists, guests and attendees signing a commemorative guitar. The guitar will be displayed at the Beat Lounge as a tribute to the people and memories that have shaped the company’s journey over the past decade.
Speaking on the occasion, Beat Devices proprietor Kezhazelhou (Kezha) Ltu expressed gratitude to everyone who had supported the company over the years.
He said the milestone celebrated not only the company’s achievements but also the contributions of every artist, client, partner and supporter who had placed their trust in Beat Devices. He added that sponsoring a young sound engineer reflected the company’s belief that the future of the music industry depended not only on talented performers but also on skilled professionals working behind the scenes.
Ltu further said Beat Devices would continue to serve the music community with dedication while supporting artists, encouraging young professionals and contributing to the growth of Nagaland’s music industry as it entered its second decade.
