Begin Lephori-Molhe camp road works: LVC

Lephori village council has demanded the initiation of road construction from Lephori-Molhe camp (130 pillar), 26 kms under Phek division.

In a press release, Lephori village council chairman Zarpa Katiri and head GB Nyuchitho stated that the village at a general meeting on September 12 unanimously resolved to “fight tooth and nail” until the responsible authority fulfilled the demand. They claimed that the road works have not been executed though the funds/additional funds of centrally sponsored schemes (CSS) and state sponsored schemes (SSC) were released. “The general public have been deprived with the right to live and the fundamental rights has been infringed,” the village council said and affirmed it would “leave no stone unturned until justice is done”.
