Department of Power Nagaland (DoPN) has informed that a disconnection message, which was circulating, claiming to be from an electricity officer, was likely to be a scam.
According chief engineer (D&R), power, Er. Moa Aier, the department does not send such messages. In this regard, Er. Aier has directed executive engineer (E) Kohima to file a case with the cyber police unit. All other divisions have also been informed to educate the consumers and inform the police if a similar case arose.
