Runner Sameer Singh, sponsored by bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, is running a five-month Ultra Maraton in support of martyrs.
A press release from 111 Bn. BSF, the Marathon started from Wagha Border in Punjab on December 1, 2017 and will end back at Wagha Border after covering the entire border and coast line of India, running 100 kms per day.
Singh reached Dimapur on 26 April from Manipur and will proceed to Arunachal Pradesh. Supporting the marathon, 111 Bn. BSF, deployed at Satakha, received Singh and his team at Dimapur. A team consisting of 10 personnel accompanied Sameer Singh up to Nagaland Gate from where the Singh’s marathon team continued on its journey.
