Bike rally reaches Kiphire town

The bike rally, which was flagged off from Tsiesema Basa on March 30, to commemorate the platinum jubilee of “Battle of Kohima”, reached Kiphire town after a halt at Jessami on March 31.

According to PRO HQ IGAR (N), the bikers traversed a distance of 130 km in nine hours through the adventurous and historic route of World War II, passing through significant villages of Melluri, Akhegwo and Longmatre. A flagged in programme was organised at DC ground, Kiphire that featured some amazing numbers from local youth. The bikers will complete the last leg of the historic bike rally at Jotsoma on April 4.
