BJP clarifies on RS seat issue

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Nagaland state unit has clarified its stand regarding the lone Rajya Sabha seat. In a press release, BJP state general secretary Eduzü Thelüo stated that the party received three aspiring candidates– HK Khulu, IAS retired; former BJP state president, Dr. M Chuba Ao and former minister, TA Ngullie. BJP state unit stated that its members in the DAN co-ordination committee meeting appreciated the decision taken by working committee NPF. The general secretary stated that the state BJP while taking important decision usually consult the head office for better understating. In connection with this, party general secretary said the state team would be heading to Delhi for further discussion.
