The 5th executive meeting of BJP Dimapur District unit was held on June 2 at District Office, Super Market Complex Dimapur Nagaland with Ananta Narayan Mishra, State secretary (Organisatio) as the special guest.
Addressing the meeting, Mishra stated that BJP stands for development and was focused on upliftment and empowering the minority section of the society for which the government in the centre has setup a separate tribal affairs ministry and DONER especially for North eastern states.
Mishra remarked that after touring all the districts of Nagaland he was “bemused” to find Nagaland still at a natal stage while the rest of the states in the country have marched ahead.
He exclaimed that Nagaland was not 100% but 200% corrupted, labelling it as the most corrupted state in the country.
Only BJP can bring ‘Sabka saath, Sabka Vikas’ (collective efforts, inclusive growth) which, he said, forms the cornerstone of Narendra Modi’s model of governance in Nagaland .
Describing BJP as “workers oriented party and not a leaders oriented party”, MIshra asked the party workers to work diligently in the grassroot level to ensure that the party comes to power in the 2018 assembly election
